School Policies

Student Privileges

Dances and other extracurricular social events are a privilege enjoyed by students. Students may lose these privileges due to poor behavior, attendance concerns, discipline concerns, or other issues as deemed appropriate by the administration.

No-Go List

Placement on the No-Go List could result in a student being unable to attend any sporting events or dances and the removal of Teacher Aide classes and Pep Rallies.

A student who has been suspended for any reason is automatically placed on the No-Go List for the remainder of the semester. They will need to meet with their assigned administrator to discuss a plan to gain privileges back.

Students currently serving ATS are not permitted to attend any school-sanctioned events while serving ATS. Once they have completed their intervention, they will be removed from the No-Go List.

No-Go List - Monitored and Entered into 5*

Students may be placed on the No-Go List and become unable to participate in extracurricular activities or school events, including but not limited to ASB events, at any time.

No-Go List placement can also be assigned by administration for any potential violation of any Ed Code.

The student will receive an email stating that they have been placed on the No-Go List. If they would like to inquire about the reason for their placement, they can visit either office, depending on their assigned administrator’s location, before or after school or during their lunch period.

Students may remain on the No-Go List for the quarter or longer, based on their current behavioral and academic record.

Three Categories That Could Result in a Student Being Placed on the No-Go List

  1. Discipline
    • Excessive Tardy Referrals
    • Admin Assigned: Action in Assertive Discipline
  2. Academics
    • 2 Fs in one grading period
  3. Attendance
    • 3 Unexcused Full Days
      • Can get off by serving Saturday School.
  4. Tardy Sweep
    • Can clear by serving lunch detention.
